A custom pool can become the centerpiece of an entire backyard, creating a place for swimming, relaxing, entertaining and spending time outdoors. Pure Blue Luxury Pools and Outdoor Living is a Kansas City-based pool contractor serving homeowners throughout the Kansas City metro, including Parkville, Leawood, Overland Park, Mission, Liberty and surrounding communities.
Building a pool in the Kansas City area also means planning for the property and the local climate. Lot layout, grading, drainage, access and the seasonal changes between hot summers and freezing winter conditions can all influence how a pool project comes together. Pure Blue considers the pool as part of the overall property so that the finished space works with the home, surrounding hardscape and existing backyard.
Our in-house team works directly with clients rather than handing pool construction off to third parties. From the first meeting, we take time to understand what you want from your backyard and evaluate the site before the project moves forward. Our team then coordinates the project through the stages needed to take it from an initial idea to a completed, swim-ready space.
Whether you are planning a completely new pool or need help with an existing one, Pure Blue provides services covering planning, building, ongoing care and future improvements throughout the Kansas City metro.

Gunite Pools
Homeowners interested specifically in gunite construction can explore our Gunite Pools service. This dedicated page explains what distinguishes gunite pools and the options available when choosing this type of custom pool.
In-Ground Pools
Our In-Ground Pools page is dedicated to homeowners considering a permanent in-ground swimming pool for their property. It provides more information about the available pool options and how an in-ground pool can become part of a larger backyard environment.
Pool Houses
A pool project can extend beyond the water itself. Pool Houses provide dedicated space alongside the pool and can be planned around the way a homeowner wants to use the surrounding area.
